May 26, 2010Just did some housekeeping including deleting numerous spam attempts from assorted purveyors of Rolex watches, penile extension merchants and one Polo shirt Wholesaler. He had the following to add as a comment to a previous blog entry that began with the line ‘Spring time for Hitler, winter for Poland and France’ The comment read ‘I enjoy reading the report, too. It′s easy to understand that a journey like this is the biggest event in ones life’ I was tempted to approve it although it would open the floodgates to most of China’s exporters.

Someone created a widget that keeps track of exactly how many comments you’ve thrown in the spam bin over the life of your blog – it adds a feeling of achievement to the otherwise tedious task. If it didn’t clash so badly with my layout, I’d add it
Today I found this comment trying to attach itself to my “Mind Fuck” article –
“Hi, I’m very interested in Linux but Im a Super Newbie and I’m having trouble deciding on the right distribution for me (Havent you heard this a million times?) anyway here is my problem, I need a distribution that can switch between reading and writing in English and Japanese (Japanese Language Support) with out restarting the operating system.”
